Objective

Identify an issue around Detroit and develop a solution that could be made available to city residents.

Overview

Green Spaces Detroit is a publication that highlights urban farming and green space efforts in Detroit. The issue I chose to address was blight throughout the city. The publication provides information on developing and maintenance of green spaces, and also highlights local groups practicing green space development.

An interesting take-away from this project was the level of research involved and content necessary to communicate the appropriate solution. Information provided ranges from city statistics to actual guides and steps to build a functional garden. Properly relaying data and garden blueprints into a visual guide, was a unique challenge to address and resolve.
